As a Thrive Licensed Practitioner, you will be equipped with a deep, practical knowledge of Thrive and the underpinning theory and skills required to meet the social and emotional needs of the children and young people you work with.
You will learn about the developmental journey children go on as they grow, including the stages of social and emotional development and how the brain changes at each stage. You will explore the role of the arts, play and creativity in supporting the needs of young people and develop strategies for building supportive relationships.

Designed for Principals, Assistant Principals, Deputies, and senior and middle leaders with responsibility for pastoral support, safeguarding, special education needs and health and wellbeing curriculum, our Thrive Approach for Senior Leaders courses will provide a strategic perspective on the Thrive Approach.
You will explore how best to develop a whole-setting wellbeing programme while upskilling your team with the latest thinking around emotional resilience and engaging young people with their learning.

Thrive-Online enables your colleagues to clearly and systematically identify the social and emotional development needs of the children and young people in your setting.
The system can be used to report progress at individual, group, whole-school and multi-school level. These reports can also be used in conjunction with typical school attainment measures to evidence the difference Thrive is making within your setting.

To maintain Licensed Practitioner status, and ensure their practice is as relevant and up to date as possible, practitioners must accrue 10 CPD points per year. Points can be gained by attending one of our Continuing Professional Development courses. These short training sessions are run throughout the year and are designed to deepen delegates' knowledge of the Thrive Approach and inspire them with new ideas to take back to their settings.
